Dr. Ranajit Panigrahi did his Graduation MBBS in M.K.C.G Medical College , Berhampur and Postgraduation inOrthopaedics M.S.(Ortho) in S.C.B. Medical College Cuttack.
After postgraduation worked in the Joint Replacement and Sports Medicine unit at Fortis Hospital , New Delhi and was trained in Joint replacement and arthroscopy surgeries of different joints.
Subsequently he did Fellowship in Arthroscopy surgery and Sports Medicine at two centers in SEOUL,SOUTH KOREA under stalwart in the field of arthroscopy Prof. Jin Hwan Ann
Subsequently he underwent training in different advanced techniques in Arthroscopy and Sports medicine under Dr Mark Ferguson at Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics , JOHANESBERG,SOUTH AFRICA where most of the present and past indian cricketers and atheletics were treated for different problems.
He has undergone training in Basic, Advanced and Masters AO course in complex trauma surgery
Dr.RanajitPanigrahi till now had performed more than three thousand (3000) arthroscopic surgeries of different joints of the body in various hospitals of twin cities using latest techniques in this field.
Simlarly he had performed various complex trauma surgeries and Joint Replacement Surgeries of Hip, knee in the last decade.
Prof. Ranajit Panigrahi is the Postgraduate teacher and thesis guide of postgraduate students. He is the Editorial board member and reviewer of many reputed international orthopedic journals. He had published many original Articles in various indexed international and national orthopedic journals in the field of arthroscopy, arthroplasty and trauma. Similarly he had presented many scientific research papers in various international, National and state orthopedic conferences.
